Dawn Clement and Debbie Galdo opened the doors of Sew Heavenly Fabrics & Gifts in May 2010. Dawn, a veteran shop owner in the Piedmont area, and Debbie, a former Customer Service Manager, saw the need for trendy fabrics as seen in ready-to-wear. Long-time members of SAGA’s Piedmont Smockers Guild, Dawn and Debbie had collaborated on projects and designs for over fifteen years. Realizing how well they worked together and how much they had in common, aside from both being pastors’ wives, they knew they should combine creative forces to open a shop. Their desire is to share their love of sewing, encourage and inspire others through classes and design, and provide a fun atmosphere with quality fabrics, patterns and trims to create garments with a boutique feel for both children and adults.
